Leading Question

A guy in Utah with 8 registered, legally purchased firearms, just withdrew $97,000 in cash and told the bank teller at the time he was going to hunt down and kill President Obama. Wouldn't it be great if he was somehow stopped short of his stated goal? Or does his Second Amendment right to bear arms protect him until he attempts an assassination?
